Lara Milena Brose studied philosophy and theatre dramaturgy and has been studying documentary film directing since 2018. She shoots a lot abroad, including cinematic works in Nicaragua, Mexico, Guatemala, Bosnia Herzegovina and Macedonia. Her last documentary film Survive, qualified for a short documentary Oscar. In 2022 she was awarded the Young Talent Film Prize of the City of Munich. Lara is a co-founder of AK49, a political-artistic collective that, among other things, focuses on feminist perspectives on war. Her first feature documentary, Echoes from Borderland, will be released in January 2024.
